Cheat codes (penta) doesn't work on CBR-JAP

Hi all,

I'm writing here because i have problems unlocking penta on my cbr-jap game.

and asked it to Blowcircuit on youtube, but when i try it nothing happens.

I downloaded cbr from here: http://www.emuparadise.me/
and another source
and tested on 2 ps with modchip and epsxe 1.7 but nothing...

What can i do now?!?

duuuude how different is japanese ctr from the normal onE?
