... If I post records on emulator in ctr4ever, will you accept it if I make a video? Coz I have 22"06 in Papu's Pyramid in Emulator and WITHOUT Save states, so I would know if you will accept if I post this record.

well... before it was forbidden, always emulator has been seen bad, cos it's not the original ps, and it can be done with save states or maybe with other advantages,Mingroni used that for fake their records, but if you have a vid it's better

anyway the alpha's WR in cp lap was validated so i think it's ok for u use emulator.

but try to don't make all your records in emulator, it's better watch a ps record

Don't worry, it's just for this lap, froggy is very hard in PAL and I want sub 22! Will be the only one!

I have 21"89 in video now. I'll ask more person for be sure they accept that I have a WR in emulator. I dont want that someone call me "faker"...

i don't know...i don't like emulator very much...but if you do the complet video i think i would accept it.

I was never against using emulator (altough the rule was voted to forbid it)...
but to validate the proof, it has to prove :
1) the time (video of the run)
2) no cheat used (so, complete video of the record needed, not only a restart vid, and good quality requested)
3) the proof that save state wasn't used, either recording both the course + the player playing (hands/joystick/keyboard for ex.), or showing that save state is empty. So an external camera is needed to make a really good proof that can be approved in ctr4ever.

If there isn't 1, 2 and 3, you may keep your record in the site but the proof will not be validated.

So emulator is legal since now.

legal, but not appreciated. I wish I could play on a real console, but right now I don't have the choice...

I think you can yes, espcially that you are a great player, but it's better if you can make videos if you play on emulator

cmon man, emulator it's not the only way to play with PAL, u can download it from emule plus, and then burned it in a CD, i wrote a guide about this time ago, but seems that it get lost :/

if emulator is the only way you can play with pal penta, then I guess it's a honourable reason to play with emulator...
