Tips on Slide Coliseum

Please, could someone help me with the SC! I have watched every vid and tried everything but I just can't get through the SC - best is 2 laps... That lucky I was once. I know these things:

1° U-turn
2° 1 boost before
3° jump before entering grass, and as ctf said, at the SC also.

rento, don't jump during the shortcut.
try to do one jump before it like skandu, it's easier than 2 jumps (but lower).
and you MUST keep the "X" button pushed

I am starting to think that Playstation 2 is worst in this level. I NEVER completed 3 laps using PS2!

@Rento: vive-crash is right, Skandu's vid is the best way, though lower...

This shortcut is difficult if what I tried .. salio but I never Once jumps in asl tires and I will not open deretroceso .. ..

the best way is play in PS1

Ahh... Soon to be Hero D. Today made a 1:39:04 here with 2 laps SC still. I somewhat got the hang of the SC though!

God here is super easy, keep trying

i don´t believe in my concept is very hard (no lo creo en mi concepto es muy duro)

amara, my 1'29"90 is with PAL version and playstation 2. so it is not the problem

But you used Playstation 2 PAL version.

Ihad to use NTSC version

but what is the difference between the pal version PS2 and PAL version PS1

Let's considere that the CTR is PAL and the Playstation is NTSC:

Play1:
Bad frames per second;

Play2:
Image is not complete;
The sound is acelerate;
It's impossible to take the first speed ghost on N. Gin Labs;
It's very hard to take the shortcut on Slide Coliseum;

ok so i have tried a couple new techniques attempting to get the shortcut and i can now manage to get past the tyres without getting stuck.
the problem now is that aku aku keeps picking me up and resetting me once i have made it through, anyone that can help me with this?
i have tried things from attempting to copy videos of this track where they use mega turn and inventing some silly ways myself and aku aku continues to reset me after i make it through the tyres.

you have to go after the shortcut and THEN turn in wrong way and pass the sc. if you pass without run a bit more uka uka will pick up you forever

I've only done the sc once! And can't do it! But I'll practice some tonight and try to get the hang of Slide Coliseum SC and hopefully master it and get like a Titan rank! Or even GOD!

Any new tips on this impossible SC in Slide Coliseum?
I've been trying for 2 hours and only got it a couple of times. Is it really that hard?

I play on a PS3, could be that that makes it harder. I really like this track tho, so I would really like to get the SC and get a nice time.

I noticed it's easier when you don't correct your turning just before and trough the SC (obvious ). Any new small tips so I can improve at it?
